This option is aimed at insured persons who are in special phases of life such as unemployment, sabbatical or extended maternity leave. External membership can be taken up for a maximum of two years.
What does external membership mean?
External membership allows you to continue to benefit from the Avanea Pension Fund even during special phases of your life. You can choose between pure risk insurance or a combination of risk and savings insurance.
Advantages of external membership:
- Continuity: Your pension provision remains uninterrupted even during a break, which increases your long-term financial security.
- Flexibility: Adapt your insurance to your current circumstances and choose between risk insurance or risk and savings insurance.
- Security: In the event of unemployment, sabbatical or extended maternity leave, you continue to be comprehensively covered.
- Maximum duration: External membership can be used for up to two years.
Insurance options:
- Risk insurance: Covers risks such as death and disability and ensures that your surviving dependants are covered in the event of a claim.
- Risk and savings insurance: In addition to risk insurance, a portion of your contribution will continue to be saved for old-age provision in order to increase your savings capital.
