We collect applicant data that is submitted to us and disclosed to us (e.g., first and last names, standard contact information such as mailing address, email address, and phone numbers, application materials, and information provided during interviews). This data is stored in the applicant database. We may also receive data from third parties (e.g., information from your references or a recruitment agency).
3. Legal Basis and Purposes of Data Processing
We process applicant data primarily to assess your suitability for the position you have applied for and to manage the application process. In doing so, we rely in particular on the legal bases of taking steps prior to entering into a contract, consent, and our legitimate interest.
4. Data Sharing and Data Transfer
This data is stored, evaluated, processed, or shared internally solely in connection with your application. It is accessible only to employees of the Human Resources department and to those responsible for the selection process at our company. Your data will not be disclosed to third-party companies or individuals, nor will it be used for any other purposes. If you are hired, the data will be forwarded to the Human Resources department and stored in your personnel file. Data processing in connection with a potential employment relationship is governed by the policies in that file.
5. Retention Period for Personal Data
Your application data will be stored and processed for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by the laws and regulations to which we are subject.
You may withdraw your application or request the deletion of your application data at any time. This is without prejudice to the retention of data that we are required to retain under applicable laws and regulations.
6. Data Security
We will store your data securely and take all reasonable measures to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration.
Our employees and all contractors who have access to your data are required to comply with data protection regulations.
